When I was a young girl I saw my great grandma's cedar chest. I thought it was the prettiest thing I had ever seen. And oh, the smell when she let me peek inside. From that point on, I was hooked on Aromatic Cedar of all things :) When I had my own daughter, I started longing for something to pass down to her. Something that she would cherish, like I do. I looked at Cedar Chests is stores and in catalogs, but something was wrong with all of them. They were all made from oak or pine with cedar lining. I wanted a real Cedar Chest. And for my 30th birthday, Carl gave me this.

Carl carefully hand-picks every piece of cedar for your special chest. Only the finest 1" thick cedar planks are used. Any decorative hardware can be added at your request. You can even send us your own special hardware to add.
Inside this red beauty you will find a half slide tray that is 2" deep. This tray can easily hold all of your treasures without taking away from the ample storage space inside. The round-top on this chest is made from custom cut cedar strips. These strips are then attached one at a time to the 3 main braces that give the top its shape. You can choose from either the round-top or flat-top style. We can even personalize it with a name plaque. Sealed with polyurethane to protect the natural beauty of the wood and ensure a long life. Choose from flat, semi-gloss, or high-gloss polyurethane.
